Moab-Day 5 & 6

Super Excited!!! Off to Moab!! First time being there for both of us. Mix of highways to get there. Hwy 89, Interstate 15, hwy 6 and hwy 191. Word of advice….. head out early for cooler temps. Tented at Canyonlands RV Park….right on Main Street. Great campground!! Suggestion……ask for a shaded campsite. Must try eating establishment is at the Moab Brewery. Big portions, friendly staff, Chicken Fajita Salad was delicious, and the Black Raven Oatmeal Stout was amazing. (Picture is the view from our campsite)

Day 6 was incredible! Headed out very early for the Arches National Park…..Early start a must do for the cooler temps and to beat the crowds. The views are spectacular and breathtaking. Nothing like we have ever seen before!! The reds of the rock are so vivid against the blue sky. Formations look like they have been carved and chiseled by hand. So smooth, no jagged edges and the tops are flat plateaus.

After exploring the Arches National Park we headed off on highway 128. It offered around 20 miles of twisties running alongside the Colorado River….. a quick must do on a motorbike!!
