Day 14

Today we were off to Bishop, California and it was an interesting one for a couple of reasons. First, this will be the longest stretch on the trip without a gas station. We had a gas can with us just in case…..my Rebel has only an 11.2 litre fuel tank….yikes. Secondly, highway 375, the Extraterrestrial Highway. This highway is incredibly flat, straight, and just a handful of traffic. I swear we could see our next destination from our starting point that morning haha. We decided to measure our distance and picked a point in the distance we could see. When we got to the marked point we were shocked……..it was 25 km’s away!!

Now we can say we rode highway 375, the Extraterrestrial Highway. Did not see any UFO’s or aliens though………hahaha. It was quite the interesting experience on a motorcycle on such a long, straight road. And in the end, Rebel made it the 259 km’s from Alamo to the next gas station in Tonopah without needing the gas can.
