Day 23 – Homeward Bound
When we woke up and were packing up to head home, it was hard to believe our three week adventure was coming to an end. After months of planning, it seemed to come and go too quickly. The weather fit in with our sadness as well……once we were a few km’s out of Leavenworth, the clouds moved in, the temps dropped, and we rode through spotty showers. Not bad I guess considering it only rained briefly one other time on our trip. One tradition I have kept with on our motorcycle adventures is an ongoing trip meter which I take a picture of after we arrive back home. I was shocked when I scrolled it to the trip display……almost 7,775 kms in three weeks (maybe I should have pushed Rebel around in the driveway for that 0.1 km to make it the even 7,775 km? hahaha)
