Hello!! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Corinne and I am from Vancouver Island, British Columbia. I have a passion for motorcycles and everything related to motorcycles. Everything from Supermoto and Mini Racing, to taking vacations on my motorbike. My motorbikes have given me the opportunity to experience adventures and see amazing sights in Canada, the U.S, and Mexico.
I am fairly new to riding having only been riding since the summer of 2013. I wanted a motorbike since my teenage years but certain people in my life over the years would not “allow” it…….,,, if I knew then what I know now. In the late spring 2013, I decided to make some major changes in my life. I was ready to fill my life with positivity!!!
In the summer of 2013, I was taken for a ride on a Ninja 1000 and I was hooked instantly!! Then a weekend trip riding two up on an FJR1300 was an “ah ha” moment for me. I had never experienced that feeling of FREEDOM ever before.
I quickly decided that I wanted to experience riding my own bike. So in spring 2014, I took a motorcycle safety course. Then I purchased my first bike, a Ninja 250, which I nicknamed “Bumblebee”.
After a couple of years, I wanted a bike with a bit more get up and go. I upgraded to a Ninja 300 and nicknamed this one “Shadow” because I was able to keep up to the “big bikes” hahaha.
During the summer of 2016, I had the opportunity to try Supermoto racing at Western Speedway with the Victoria Supermoto Club. Of course I was hooked on the first lap!! I have also tried Mini Racing in Victoria, at the Greg Moore Raceway in Chilliwack, BC, and at TCKC track in Richland, Washington.
After being faced with some health challenges during the winter of 2018, I was concerned I would have to give up riding my own bike and go back to riding two up. Filled with determination and after a lot of research, trying different bikes, I purchased a Honda Rebel 500. I love riding my Rebel!! It is the perfect fit in this moment in my life, and allows me to continue to ride my own bike.
