Day 1 & 2

Early start on Day 1 of our adventure to the Grand Canyon. First morning ferry…..6:30a.m. Rode to the border to cross at Sumas…..and I got randomly selected for a check. Not fun!!!! The Border Security laughed that we were going to eat freeze dried food packs and tent for three weeks.

Our tent site at Monroe, Washington. Nice quiet campground at Thousand Trails Thunderbird RV & Camping Resort. Clean bathrooms, free showers. Best part was the road it is located on….Ben Howard Road…..awesome motorcycle road!!!!
